If you have a previous installation of ROSE Online from another version, please uninstall your previous version of ROSE Online and then install the ROSE NA client. Having a different version of ROSE Online installed may cause a conflict in file versions. The ROSE NA version is not the same as the iROSE, or other ROSE clients.
After you completely remove all traces of the older version, the newest client can be found at www.playroseonline.com.
This message can also be received when attempting to connect to the server behind a firewall that is not allowing for access to the necessary ports. Please be sure to enable the following ports for the ROSE NA client: 29000, 29100, 29200
